Ogden's View (1973) was the last piece commissioned by Ralph E. Ogden, the founder of Storm King Art Center, for his view house on his private estate near the art center in Mountainville, N.Y. The piece is made of four (stand alone) 44 ft. aluminum poles that define a 28 ft. cube. Each pole is spun with a bow taper, has a 5% reverse curve to allow for gravity, and is set in four cubic yards of concrete.
